Bunk beds

Bunk beds are two single beds stacked one on top of the other.

Most adults will not be happy in a bunk bed unless it is on a boat sailing to an exotic location. Bunk beds are space savers and are mostly used for a child's room, in a dormitory, or on a boat. It is a good idea for the top bunk to have a guard-rail to prevent the occupant from rolling out. The top bunk can be difficult to get into and out of as well as to make. Bunk beds are sometimes the only option for getting two twin beds into a small room with limited floor space.
